We all know that hurricanes are highly destructive natural disasters, and we need to come together to prepare for their arrival. First, we should closely monitor the weather forecasts to ensure that we all know the hurricane's erratic path. This will help us take action quickly, such as evacuating to safe areas. We should not stay alone in risky zones but seek appropriate refuge to ensure our safety. At the same time, we should also consider how to fortify our communities to cope with the hurricane's impact. We should establish extensive emergency plans to ensure we have enough food and water. In these critical moments, we need to support each other, and let's not forget to work together during these challenging times. We will emerge from these experiences stronger, building a more fortified urban environment.

Some have been forced to isolate themselves from their communities and seek refuge in shelters or other places.
ReplyDeleteOther have been trying to fortify their houses and businesses against the flooding and looting.
Some have simply reached out to their friends, family, or neighbors to offer support or reminisce about happier times. We should all help the people affected by the hurricane in any way we can. We should not forget that we are all human beings who share this planet and it’s challenges. We should not let the hurricane’s erratic and destructive force divide us or make us lose hope.

Hello Safina! Well done in your paragraph. The only word you did not use correctly was “forfeit”.
You also have a few grammar/word use errors:
- In the first sentence you are telling me about something that happens every year. For this, you need to use the present tense. You should write “suffers” instead of “suffered”.
- The second sentence should say “some of our urban areas” instead of “our some urban areas”.
- “government” does not need a capital letter
- The present continuous form of the verb in the 5th sentence should be “are working” and not just “working”.
- This sentence also does not need the word “for”. Instead, you can say “are working 24/7”.
- The last sentence is a compound sentence, and it is missing a comma before the word “and”, Grade: 97%
Hello Citizens,
ReplyDeleteYou may have had to isolate to a refuge due to the hurricane we have experienced. Even though we had tons of people isolate. Many people were not able to be evacuated our armed forces our trying their best to find people that were not able to seek refuge and experienced the hurricane and provide them with first-aid. It would be helpful to help your neighborly people because it can take long time for our armed forces to reach your area. So I would like our citizens to help our neighbors by giving necessities to the people who were affected by the hurricane. Though to this erratic hurricane it has not hit some areas. The hurricane is unpredictable so we will have to fortify areas that have not been hit for our safety.

Good work with TownSend Press and using the vocabulary words in the paragraph. Below are the grammar errors:
-Second sentence is a fragment. This means the idea was incomplete.
-Third sentence is a run-on sentence. This means you have two or more sentences together in the same sentence without separating them with a comma and a conjunction.
-The phrase “Though to this..” is not understandable.
-Last sentence is missing a comma after the word “unpredictable”. This would make it into a compound sentence.

I am speaking to citizens whose lives were changed in a day by an extensive cruel hurricane. We had most of the citizens refuge to urban area before the hurricane, but people who are still stuck we are trying to evacuate them and move them to isolated location. Many citizens are facing a long road to recovery as they continue cleaning up the devastation left behind by the Hurricane. Government agencies are bringing relief services directly to them, including meals, cleanup kits and other resources to help them start their recovery after the hurricane destruction. We will come together to recover, rebuild, fortify and demonstrate to the world that we are strong. I acknowledge all agencies and volunteers who are trying their best to bring normalcy to citizens.

Comments:
-The second sentence should say “an urban area” or “urban areas”.
-You need to rephrase the second part of the second sentence. The subject should go at the beginning. In this case, the subject was “we”. You put it in the middle. This makes the whole sentence unclear. You also repeat the object of the sentence twice. You can fix this sentence by writing: We are trying to evacuate people who are still stuck and move them to an isolated location.
-“Hurricane” does not need a capital letter. Grade: 98%
As you can see our country affected by a hurricane last few days,I think it's important for us to come together and support those affected by the hurricane. We should focus on both urban and rural areas, as the impact can be extensive. Let's fortify our efforts by providing shelter, food, and resources to those in need. It's crucial to stay organized and prepared, as the aftermath of a hurricane can be erratic. Together, we can make a difference and help rebuild communities.

Hurricanes affect people’s lives, We should help our people go through the tough times. We should teach people important methods of prevention. We should make many refuges. Comments: Hi Robin! The word “reminisce” was not used correctly. When we reminisce, we remember good times. This cannot happen with memories of a hurricane. There was also an error with the word “refuge” as it is a non-countable noun. There is also one punctuation error in the 4th sentence. You put a comma after the word “lives” when it should have been a period. Grade: 74%
