 Part 1 are the activities done in TownSend Press. This week, you have been assigned chapter 7. You must score a minimum of 50% in the multiple choice activities, for it to be considered complete. If your grade is less than 50%, you can do it again. Please remember that as an instructor I can see how much time you spend on each activity. The activities are due on Mondays at 9:00am. For this week, complete the following activities from chapter 7:

Part 2 is a writing assignment where you will include at least 3 of the new vocabulary words from chapter 7. You can also select words from chapter 12 if needed. Your paragraph should be at least five sentences long. Pay attention to grammar, punctuation, and overall clarity. At the bottom of your paragraph, please tell me which 3 words you used. REMEMBER TO WRITE YOUR NAME!

      Being the manager of this company it my moral responsibility to manage the discipline in the company , and all of you did good every time but this time all the staff made me disappointed by oraganising the party in the office after i went which is a unexpected thing for me.
      When i reached office next day there was a mess , cans , wrappers everywhere. After seeing the broken table and photographs in waiting area i lost my temper .
      The reputation , productivity, hardwork and discipline of the company all are in the hands of the employees , while this behavior will not be effective and efficient approach us.
      Also i would like to warn the workers that i have informed the company’s owner about this party . Now the concequences are upto him ,however i still expect from the staff that next time there will be no any miss behavior in the work area. Looking forward for the considerations of the teamwork without any disappointments in a prudent way.

    I am writing this memo to denounce the irresponsible and unprofessional behavior of some of you who had a party at the office when l was gone. This is serious violation of the company's rules, and it will not be tolerated.
    I was shocked and disappointed when l returned to the office and found it in a mess. There were empty bottles, cans, and plates everywhere. I have also disclosed their names to the Human Resources department for further action. Some of you may try to scapegoat others or make superficial excuses for your behavior.
    Therefore, I urge all of you to reflect on your behavior and learn from this mistake. I also advise all of you to be more conservative and cautious in your future actions. I want to make it clear that this behavior is unacceptable and will have serious repercussions.

  7. Dear colleagues, I regret to receive complaints from customers during my vacation. You held a small party at the work place during working hours, which affected the customer experience.     I have been informed about the inappropriate office party before everyone starts scapegoating. I have already taken a look at the cameras. I will not disclose any names but I am terribly disappointed in the past few days of my absence that some employees threw a party. This has made customers angry and write a bad review for our company for example one of our dear customers said " Customer service doesn't respond" you may think that was one response but it is not there were 7 more addressing customer service. Which ruined our rating of 4.9 stars to 3.6 stars this was a major setback that may take years to come to recover from this one party. Of course you know I throw parties but this party was not on my consent and has made me terribly disappointed.

    I am writing to notify you that there won't be more wornings regarding the secret parties at the office.
    I've been told that Joe is the responsible, but contrary to what we believed, and after having been sanctioned, we realized that he was just a scapegoat.
    We are very determined to discover who is behind this inaproppiate meetings, and as you know, in order to deter the team to do it again, there will be consequences for the responsibles, so, if you planned the party and you disclose your own situation, we can discuss a lighter sanction.
    We are also aware that many of you are conservatives and that you are not happy with this situation, that is why, we are offering a free month of vacations for those who denounce who is behind this parties.
